Enteric diseases are diseases of the gastrointestinal tract caused by bacterial and viral infections. These techniques help to detect the presence of disease causing microorganisms and are commercially available in the form of kits. The rising incidence of these diseases along with increasing global population, availability of the treatment technologies and increasing health awareness are likely to prove as driving factors for enteric diseases diagnostics market.

More than 85% of the total cases of the enteric infections are discovered in Asia, followed by North America and Europe.
